In 2016, Google opened its first physical retail locations in Canada, the 'Google shops.' The goal was to create a space for customers to experience google's hardware in a truly Google'y environment.
In addition to creating these spaces, the Google Retail team launched a pilot program called 'Google guides.' Google guides needed to be an elite team of sales associates that could represent Google's service and product vision while helping customers in-store — with anything from product demos to purchases.
When the program launched, Beyond was tasked with designing and developing the training program for all Google guides. The team included a Content Strategist, an Art Director, a designer, and a Project Manager.
We designed all physical materials used in the training, including a 'Welcome Pack' that guides would receive at the start of the program. The Welcome Pack included: a welcome card, a Google tote, a sticker pack, a Google notebook, and a stylized map of Toronto.
Lettuce Shoppe was created in 2013 out of the passion for beauty and care. The original beauty shop needed a modern and fun rebrand, which could attract a more youthful clientele.

As part of the Windows Phone 7 launch, Microsoft planned to send influencial bloggers a phone to give away to one of their readers. In addition to simply giving these bloggers a free phone, we wanted to show them that we took time to study and enjoy their blogs as well as highlight who they are.
We started by handcrafting wooden shadowboxes designed to bring the unique “Live Tile” interface of the Windows Phone 7 to life. Each shadowbox has four square tiles representing different features of the phone. We customized each box to each blogger, working with countless artists and craftsman to help piece together each component within the squares.
I researched these bloggers endlessly, designed trickets and, along with the team, hand curated these squares. Displayed is our agency shadow box, we kept this as our personal trophy.
